Why have Trek and HeadCheck Health teamed up?

Road riders compete at extreme speeds which can result in dangerous crashes. A 2018 study published in The Journal of Sports Medicine and Physical Fitness showed that more than one in five cyclists experience a sports-related concussion.

In April 2019, Trek Factory Racing and HeadCheck Health worked together to improve the identification, documentation, assessment, and management of concussions by implementing HeadCheck for all cross country, enduro, and downhill teams.

Following a successful campaign, Trek expanded the partnership to Trek-Segafredo in October of 2019. HeadCheck's tools enable Trek-Segafredo medical staff to rapidly and accurately assess concussions as well as track rider recovery.
