CDC HEADS UP

The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) have compiled robust resources and free training courses for healthcare providers and coaches as part of their HEADS UP program.

Youth Sport Coaches: Learn the impact of sports-related concussion on athletes, how to recognize a suspected concussion, and protocols to manage a suspected concussion with steps to help players return to play safely after a concussion. https://headsup.cdc.gov/

NFHS Concussion in Sports

The NFHS or National Federation of State High School Associations has put together a free training module on the importance of proper concussion recognition and management.

University of Calgary & Université Laval Online Course on Concussion

The two Universities have worked together to put together this free course on concussion prevention, management, and how to implement protocols for their specific programs.
